I am wondering what are the QL devs up to it seems they have been AFK from QL since a couple of weeks or so. Do you have infos on that? I'm saying that because we didn't had any message for Halloween celebration, and we had no Halloween event. And beeing a subscriber i noticed they removed the infected mod so i can't spawn server with it.

Are you sure? I know the mastermind can't be added to an infected server but infected should still be there. It's a Red Rover sub-gametype, by the way, so you won't find it along the main gametypes.

They got someone to help fix the xmpp issues (match spawning/friend's list) and upgrade (I think) the server. Took a long time but it should be fixed now.

I think some bug fixes and maybe some maps are planned for an update, but no idea when that will be. Other than that I don't know. I get the impression that they've either been on vacation, or are working on some secret project, or maybe they're just being uncommunicative and aloof as always and I'm just making stuff up to fill the gaps. Shrug.

This hack is available from early 2013, it weights less than 1 Megabyte and can be found on Google in 30 seconds. But id software did absolutely nothing to block that, they changed the announcer instead. Sad but true.
Come on id, almost 2 years have passed, do something!

You know QL netcode/registry is messed up when people advertising hacks miss.

As a paying customer I just want more protection against this kind of frequent and recent type of game play.

Issue: For the past 12 days.. Ql has detected this 0% of the time. Bottom line: That's not good enough.
