125 FPS is proud to announce the start of a 2nd division duel league (Div 2) for those players who do not (yet) have enough skills to compete for money in the main pro-league.

All players who couldn't reach top3 in the GS1 of the current pro-season (and thus can't continue to play in the pro-league this season).

cooller's time to shine ;D unless all three criteria needs to be 'active' (done) simultaneously

jokes aside, nice initiative, but ~<2200 elo seems not fitting for 'amateur' status; (would go for 2000 tops, maybe 2100)

From the 1st of December you got 3 weeks to play your group games.
You can contact your opponent on irc, quake or however you want.
You can play them whenever you want as long as you record a demo and report score on challonge.com as usual.

if we allow to play here GS1 pro-league losers - we cant set limit less than 2200., otherwise pro-gs1 losers will not have good enough opponents in the Div2.

Aint both cooller and cypher above 2200k elo? So they can't play anyways, but ye I would defo drop the elo to 2k. But great stuff by 125fps, I kno a few people that want to play in the 125fps cups but won't because they r to low skilled Lvl, so this is perfect for them.

I've played against a guy who was at 700 elo, thats the lowest that i've seen. 450 sounds way too low to be true.

That being said, you just somehow find your opponent and decide when to play your game. Then you report your game on challonge.com and don't forget to record demo as it's required by the rules in case some drama would appear :-D

btw i see new feature at challonge - you can write "private message" to any signed up player! Maybe its second (after irc) easy method to find your opponent for match

I really think setting an ELO-cap is necessary, and disallow most GS1-players and experienced duelers out this cup to call it an amateur one. But hell I would sign up if there is no money involved!
