Do you pine for the days when men were men and wrote their own device drivers?

I messed around with my boot sector yesterday and found linux distribution. Mouse did not work, keyboard did not work, video card bombed out. No i do not miss any of those days. Nor #linux

find me one modern distro where your mouse and keyboard wont work. Also every video card will work out of box with oss drivers and you can install proprietary for better performance. nvidia drivers are even superior to windows according to some benchmarks and equal according to others. You're either speaking about an ancient distro or you are full of shit.

well its better now days. I'm not advising you to use it or anything, especial if you depend on any windows only software. Any OS takes commitment, it's best to stick what works for you.
