try perixx pads, plain black, smooth surface. tho they have a foam bottomside so you might not like them. anyway ive been using minde for a good 4-5 months now i believe. no warping (even tho i go full retard and smash my fists into them when i lose on aerowalk), and the surface's friction hasnt changed much.

The razer goliathus pad does not have a sponge backing like the rest of the mouse pads you have seen. Not sure how to explain it, but its different. It is thin, grippy, and lays perfectly flat for me all the time. I think you should give it a shot
