did you test 720p, thinking ps3 for example.

I haven't no, just a PS4/PC at 1080p. I'm not at home at the moment but I could check it out and answer questions later tonight, what is it you wanted to know specifically?

just that ps3 does not do 1080p for most games, and many tv's have really shitty scalers that really don't care about adding lag, but more if the image is smooth. So basically same test, but just on 720p :)

Sony have always had a few LCD TV models that were quite fast with gaming modes or w/e they call it.

Plasma is still an option though if you want a fast gaming TV, just make sure it has some kind of passthrough/gaming mode and it should theoretically be 0ms to 5ms at most.

0-8ms should be more than fine for console games since frame length on most console games is around ~17ms on 60FPS games and ~34ms on 30FPS games, and as far as I can recall there aren't any games that have anything higher than 60FPS.
