Every game that i and a lot of other people have been excited about the last years have been fake and gay.

Not really. All major upcoming fps games ended up taking longer than expected, plus ql still's around somehow, so no biggie.

Kind of amasing what people come of with when it comes to copy Quake to try and make there own game design unique and not so copy past.

Still gimmicky tho. Quake 3 design was realy brilliant in every aspect. All weapons pefectly fit the game and have its purpose. It's raw and simple, beautiful.

I wouldn't be against a 120dmg loaded railgun or a new projetile weapon that would have a drop in its trajectory kinda like Xonotic.

I still think the new hitscan weapon in QL is terribly bad and the loadout + universal ammo pack is designed to kill the game, a real insult to the people who subscribed to QuakeLive.

I don't like what i've seen so far from Reborn. That's just my opinion.

i like it, its a breath of fresh air to the otherwise stale and redundant Quake copys we've seen so far.

I like the idea of 6 core weapons. Plus the charge mechanics could lead to some cool plays.

Instead of spamming doorways, players might be charging a gun instead waiting for their opponent to come through. It seems to offer the chance for players to plan more and create risk reward scenarios as well as using the guns in their normal capacity too.

The tesla gun and gravity gun havent quite convinced me yet though and I will have to wait and see how they are supposed to work.

The only thing I don't like about REBORN rigth now, it's becouse it's not done yet.

Indeed. While all FPS games for the past 15 years have invented totally new concepts of what a weapon might be 2gd is just copying stuff.

I'd like to see something which does not include and object (weapon) and projectiles or whatnot (bullets/rockets/beams) which come out of it and do damage to the target.

I wish I could play FPS games by writing retarded shit on ESR.
