i have 0.5s lag, then someone new joins and I press +tab , then enemy model changes.
Overall, I had same problem, then my pc was weaker and I had 1000 friendlist. Little friendlist fixed it then.

oh nice, i needed an excuse to delete 30+ useless players from my friendlist I never played with :-D

i still get the two seconds lag when a duel starts and its so freaking annoying cause in those first seconds can decide the result of the whole duel !!!

I had the same issue on my old pc after a while and in my case I could solve the problem by emptying my ql demo folder.

i get this every single time someone joins or leaves the server, or joins spec. it's extremely frustrating when a whole slew of players decide to connect during a round in progress, see that the teamsize is maxed already, and then all leave within seconds of eachother.

it's not as bad with timenudge 0 for some reason, but for those of us that like to use timenudge in any capacity, it's a nightmare.

thus far i have found not a single command that fixes the issue for me, and it is persistent whether wired or wireless.

yeah this was one of the most annoying things for me when i still played the game. especially in CA where people join and quit permanently. doesnt seem to affect everyone and theres nothing you can do about it (plus obviously nothing THEY will ever care about)

I just lost a duel because ppl joined in critical situations, and i died 3 times cause of that. I need a solution for this. please.
I'm not on wifi, I have win8, very good computer and internet is ok as well.

solution:
1) buy PRO
2) create "2 slots" duel server
3) hf

also had this problem - timenudge 0, 160mbps fiber, pretty decent PC, only got like 30 friends on my friendslist

amazingly what fixed it for me was capping my fps at 125/144. switching back to 250 would trigger the problem again. I have no idea why.
