Hi bodyevery,
I've played high sens for nearly 10 years now and only very recently have I realised that a lot of professional gamers play at low sensitivity. To provide an approximation, 2.5cm-3cm is what it takes for a 360. My accuracy averages at 20%-22% from overall gameplay, some games peak up to 35%. In pub games, I generally tend to come first.
My question is, is it worth to switch over (gradually or almost instantaneously) to low sensitivity? Will my in-game performance gradually get better?
To provide some context to why I ask this now is recently I have been wanting to purchase a mouse pad, and only then has this made me become more 'competitive' in a way and hence I wish advantage myself in every way possible. So, yes, I have never used a mousepad and am still unsure if I even need one. So far, looking at the QcK / Goliathus pads.
Thanks for the help!
