He might not have done anything good since then but you have to admit that Doom is fucking epic and one of the best games of all time. His level design was amazing and probably a big reason why Doom was so successful.

I can almost forgive the interviewer for the constant yepping, I think anyone who played Doom when they were younger and were around to experience how it changed everything would be pretty excited to talk to John in that setting.
