Handicapped Arena (1v1)

Handicapped Arena is a NEW game mode. It is based around Clan Arena with these modifications:

If you look closely you'll notice the following:
-you get the rockets, plasma, grenades and gauntlet, there's infinite ammo
-minimal weapon switch time
-the rockets and plasma are unaltered
-the grenades have twice the regular velocity
-the gauntlet deals 200 damage
-draw by health is on, as is now the default

Here's a YouTube upload showing a match in this mode so you can get the basic idea. Note that NO-ONE has gotten a lot of practice in the mode.

Up to 32 people can play. The format is SINGLE elimination. ro32 & ro16 are to 3 round wins, ro8 & ro4 to 4 round wins and [bronze] finals to 5 round wins. If there's a small number of players a round robin will be played instead.

A different map will be played each round.

Prizes: $75 first spot, $50 second and $25 third

The prize pool will be shrunk to $50, $25 and nothing for third spot if there's less than 16 players.

The date is 22nd of March, at 12PM GMT.

Make sure you're recording demos and are ready to provide them for inspection if something weird happens.

Don't start matches without an admin present unless told otherwise.

Sportsmanship applies: uncivil conduct may result in kicks. Admins make decisions as fair as possible.
