RAM errors only in dual channel
(No comments)
I still have my good ol DDR2 memory rig, but a long time ago it started to have random blue screen errors, and random ass windows errors in general. It was the ram, as confirmed by memtest.
So the thing is, when I set them dual channel, I get the errors.
When I set them in single channel, I don't get the errors.
It's 2GB or ram, 2 sticks of 1GB (yes shitty). Im looking forward to an upgrade. I'm going to buy 4GB (2GB each) and test in double channel. Worst case scenario is it's the motherboard but I get to have 6GB in single channel, better than 2GB which is a pain in the ass and im struggling to browse the internet these days.
Everything at default timings and voltages and same shit happens.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
