No, but players have always been able to join higher games than their tier, and people are bad at recognising their own abilities, just want the challenge, or maybe just think it's more fun to get in the way on higher tiered games, who knows.

Why do they allow up tiering? I can't down tier. That's not fair.
I mean t3-t4 makes sense, but allowing t1-t2 in a t4 server makes none.... It's actually really annoying.
Yeah, was wondering if something should be done about it. I guess the GL is mostly used to control movement. I think during the average game only about 3-4 hit on average? But I don't know, sometimes the GL comes off as really spammy. Maybe tweaking it in certain ways would be better.
Should definitely be removed from loadouts ffa because its only picked by retards who only play to troll, not even trying to win the game. In CA grenade ammo should probably be reduced.

I agree. Pub games matter very little and when they're played in these conditions they mean fuck all. Electric Head is too small for this amount of players. Loadouts can't make things better or worse in this scenario. What is otherwise a high skill level game gets reduced to Call of Duty level retardation where random projectiles are blowing up everything inside a tuna can. If for example you only used rail and hit 100% accuracy you would probably still lose because how chaotic and meaningless the match is. When dodge and accuracy no longer matter the victory is via luck not talent.

The GL is the weapon with the lowest frags and usage.
It should instantly be nerfed!
Also nerf MG, SG, LG, RG and PG, because people still use them.

Sometimes I`m in the lead by 1 frag, but there are still 9 minutes left. I run away, spam corners and corridors to make any chase a deathtrap. But the enemies stop chasing, when they see 5 rockets in a lame row hitting the same corner and then they try another route. That is bad, because then I have to turn arround and spam another corner, change my position and what not, while i don`t make enough damage to get more frags being out of control. That is why I think it needs a bigger splash zone! 3 times bigger would be perfect.

The time between rockets is too long. When i miss a rocket, enemy has too much time to react. The time between rockets should be half of what it is now.

It is very hard to hit an enemy that keeps changing his strafe direction quickly. When pressing +attack, the RL should fire a primary rocket in the middle and two secondary rockets on each side.

Sometimes I bounce an enemy sky high in the air with a single rocket, but he still can frag me with skill. The RL needs more bounce effect to prevent any control after getting hit. Like 10 times more.

The maximum ammo is too low. When I camp on the RL, while spamming entrances like crazy, my ammo goes only up to 25 rockets.

The rockets are too slow. On high range, enemies still have enough time to dodge them. The rockets should fly as fast as plasma shots or make them hitscan.

The rockets haven`t enough damage. Sometimes I hit 2 lucky rockets in a row and the enemy still survives. Make the RL instagib.

annoying in ffa. make so that you get 5 starting ammo but ammo boxes will not give you more grenades. so if you choose to have gl you should use the 5 grenades wisely because you will not be getting anymore unless you die.
Grenade launcher is a smart weapon, and simply underpowered. You won't kill shit spawning randomly.

And why are people even complaining about GL, when half the server spawns with lg and keeps firing from spawning, walking to the nearest univeral ammo box?
What about those than in any map bigger than "small" spawn directly with rail gun? The joy of being the quad runner and being insta fragged by a spawning enemy behind you that just fired because he was keeping "fire" pressed to spawn.

This 100x. Excessive spamming eliminated, with all weapons, hitscans included. Plus you would finally see matches in wich the pros keep it low because they have few ammunitions on every weapon, or are aggressive because have ammo advantage, like in q3.
For me one thing is annoying: when it's too conveniently placed, eg. on ZTN. The person on GL platform can indefinitely spam the room without any risk of being hit. If it was placed, let's say where SG is currently, or shards near RL it would force he person to move from time to time to restore ammo.
Don't touch them in Duels. They are very useful for the guy out of control.
In CA, it should be gone completely or very little ammo. If people camp the lg room in Hidden Fortress, the game turns to shit when they start to spam nades.
Can't think of even one reason. Spam is way more efficient with RL.
GL is very important as handicap weapon when you want to play with lower skilled friends and still get some 'AAH's and 'OOH's ;)
