No strafe = no play

I played a couple of matches with Cooller and Ash, unreal engine feels like shit tbh, especially movement and netcode in comparison to etpro/ql.
Core gameplay is kinda fine although being an ex-ET and QL player I dislike some game design choices like inability to shoot when sprinting and overall I miss ET gameplay with rambo medic cores and a must-have engineer(from what i've seen in dirtybomb any class can do objectives, although they do it slower)
The most sad thing is that after all these years noone still can reproduce etpro netcode/antilag/antiwarp eventhough some companies even licensed bani's source code. In my opinion it's the BEST netcode I've ever seen, the only game where Russians could play Americans or Australians and it was kinda playable. And overall the amount of precision is amazing, you can easily precisely hit headshots eventhough it's sv_fps 20 and your ping is around 100. Accuracies around 50% are pretty common there.

Yeah it's the only netcode that makes 150 ms ping better than 20 ...

Honesty i'd like to try an ET game with under 40 ping and no antilag for everybody to see how it works out. Maybe i'm biased against the antilag afterall. But also maybe the gameplay would profit from the acc decrease.

been playing a fair amount of it (see my yt) and it's ok.
mouse input doesn't feel as bad as other unreal games but it's still worse than ql or csgo.
netcode is actually decent, can be competitive with good players up til ~120ping, but around there ADAD battles get a lot more difficult and you'll lose more fights than you ought to.
merc gameplay is interesting, in organized MM you get a better idea of how the game is meant to be played/better understand synergies between mercs. casual/server browser games are a joke by comparison. it's like playing csgo dm to understand how to play csgo mm.
downsides:
game has been in beta for years, meaningful progress seems very slow
the pricing model is peabrained and will probably end the game before it ever gets going.

i tried and the computer did want dizzle to have fun on new games. instead of spending my money on weed i might save for that speedy pc =] a polish can dream.
