R9 295X2 smokes anything at a lower price point. The, to be released, R9 390X will trash everything that nvidia has to offer atm.

That's the old Titan though ("Published on Mar 27, 2014"), not the recent Titan X. You can get a cheaper GTX 970/980 to do the job :P

Older titan is faster @ cuda and openCL . The current gen are is shitty at compute tasks...
