did not really listen much to the stream. it was okay at times but other times it was a bit too much indeed.

however, from a casters perspective I can tell that three casters is more relaxing because you do not get exhaustet. i think it is hard to balance three casters. you need someone who controls the other two and pitches them bits. From a viewers perspective its mostly just ppl talking over each other.

however, the last time ive listened to zoot and he had two caster wtih him it was fine (forgot their names). i think it really comes down to who is casting and if they have any experience.

Yep. I can elaborate a bit on my comments above for those who may not have picked up on my sarcasm:

I completely agree that it was not ideal having three people cast the cup. I did inquire about keeping the casters at two per map because I have seen more bad three-caster setup than good ones, but I am not blaming anyone for allowing me to give me .02c haha . It doesn't help that I typically solo cast and once I get going it can be hard for me to stoo! *-*
Also I do not talk to koz/fnx often. Being able to understand how your fellow caster(s) react to certain situations (humor, sadness, passion, etc) is a huge bonus when multiple people are casting. For example two friends with no experience casting will provide better coverage of a game than two strangers.

Three casters is extremely common in Asian Esports, but each caster is typically assigned a role that goes beyond the typical "Hype Man and Analyst" that most of us are use to watching. There are no hard rules about the number of casters you should have for a Quake broadcast but I do feel that the definition of each casters role within the broadcast and familiarity with one another becomes increasingly important as the number of casters increases.

I must say I enjoyed the 3 caster broadcast yesterday. It felt that you got tired there at the end but overall it was very entertaining.

I like when casters don't comment on everything that's happening in a game, its not radio. Watchers/spectators can see for them self if an item is picked up or when a good rail is shot.
You all 3 did great job making this broadcast funnier then it usually is.

Well yes, he's excused in the sense that everything high tech is terribly expensive there, he's young and even working in the weekends or in the summer the traditional low jobs for youngs it would be hard to keep enough. Between all pros, he and the russian ones are the ones excusable for not be playing on 120 hz.

But then you think, isn't he one of the most successful big event player, if not "the"? Where did all the moneys go?

He won five digits sums in dollars as single wins. Couldn't he invest 200 dollars in the most important piece of hardware after you get 250 fps stable, considering it's the way he earns moneys in the first place?

That's what's annoying.
Not to mention every time a pro comes out completely ignorant of important things and settings, like he and rapha, for example, not knowing about that mouseaccel cvar change until after they played like shit for who knows how long, or his chaotic mess of a cfg, rapha's retarded settings, demon playing with unbinded weapons, and the list goes on and on.

I don't know why Cypher and Rapha should care when they win almost everything this way. But mousewheel weapon changing is funny :D Those grenades out of nowhere.

They should care if they want to beat each other, for example. And it's not like they're unbeaten. Killsen and Toxic completely embarrassed Rapha just by hitting more than him. Evil too, beat both him and cypher.

Mousewheel weapon changing is fun. I like it in every other single player fps, and i used it against bots at the beginning in quake.
Rapha's settings are really funny, too. Crosshair twitching everywhere, hitting the craziest rails and making every miss feel like inevitable.

but all those things are penalizing, and self-harming in a competitive contest.
