not sure if you noticed but we're at 0.3 with reflex. The purpose of such 'cups' is to provide devs with kind of competitive environment so they can test things and look for valuable feedback within the community.

People needs time to adjust to changes so they need to stay for a while in order to gather any meaningful results. As far as I know nothing is final at this stage as everything here is a work in progress.

Its kind of funny when casters didnt realise it and complement players on their perfect timings :D

I dont believe timers were added based on a popular demand.

If you would like to add a feature to reflex there is an official forum for that I'm sure you can argument well whatever feature you would like to request, also on the very same forum you can talk about the timers and familiarize yourself with other people's opinions about them. As a bonus you can get the idea about their UI system and part of the reasoning behind the timers.

If you get involved and provide valuable feedback you might get into their testing group and get the idea about future possible changes to the gameplay.

Although if you go there and post "ya know ya suck balls bro, fuck the timers kappa" there is a strong possibility nobody will take it seriously.

Good excuse to not having the balls to join the cup.

I love timers. Players can better focus on aim or position. Playing without timers like "okay i take yellow-go red-i take red-go again yellow" - you dont need to be very smart to make this operation in your mind, its ez. But i pretty sure timers help new players to quickly learn the game and control resources on the map. Stop this ql syndrome, everything is fine.

Well now it becomes more focused on aim/movement. My aim in CPM was never that good but I felt one way where I could at least succeed was being able to time/control items better than the heavy aimers.

I liked the diversity that created in terms of player styles In CPM. You didn't need to have crazy mechanical skills to playe at high levels.

well lunok never wasn't a timing guy that's why he is suited to play cpm duel and barely ctf, he dosn't know pleasure of outtiming guy or keeping right times on item for whole game so don't blame him :)

or maybe because he isnt plyaing a game that relies on timings that much?
