honestly can't see what cypher can do about evil at qcon (if evil shows up)
it's not about better evil's aim, it's just about evil's smarter play when he knows how to utilize cypher's stereotypes

dude, online Cypher has a 75 hrz monitor and 50 ping vs 0 ping and 144 hz. On lan setup is the same + Cypher went to 100 lans vs Evil's 10.

Last year was the very same thing. Cypher and all the others getting owned bad online. Then they went to quakecon, Cypher was his usual self, and he dismantled the opposition without breaking a sweat.

And didn't he say something like "i can't wait to play you on lan" just before the quakecon?

So, Cypher will be fine, mentally.

Not that his group has any chance against any other top group in tdm or ctf, but at least he'll be there for duel.

I'm pretty sure you guys remember it wrong. In the months before qcon they were pretty even, but cypher started to get the better of evil in their very close matches. Can someone post that site that compares their earnings? I'm really curious about it. Besides i remember it was not a huge surprise for most people that cypher crushed evil 3-0 in qcon.

Maybe, i doubt it. But thats not the point, point is that cypher was in much better shape against evil last year before qcon.

I'm sure that today's cypher got more skill than ever before. Simply look at his aim when playing serious matches. And evil outsmarts him purely by playing unpredictably agressive at very short time periods. Which cypher doesn't expect and gets mad and idiotic.
