See if your cm/360° is different on USB 2.0

I did something similar, I go in the same map in the same spot and line my crosshair up, and swipe from right to left. Normally I do slightly less than 270° angle, with USB 2.0 it was less than normal. It's almost as if USB 3.0 adds acceleration to it or something, which I have off in Windows, off in CSGO, and also use m_rawinput '1'. Another issue, which I can't say is any different in USB 2.0 but I will test it with that, is that my sensitivity feels different almost every time I boot up my PC/open CSGO.

did you check your usb hz? afaik usb3 does not fully support 500/1000hz usb2 mice, which may explain the difference in "feel".

Yes, it's always at 1000Hz give or take 5-10Hz.

could be confirmation bias. most people have no idea how easy it is for their brains to fool themselves.

test that again, but restrict your range of motion with some books or something to make sure your physical motion is actually consistent. use cl_showpos 1 or something to actually measure the angles, and write down the results from every run onto paper so that you don't selectively focus on those which supports your previous hypotheses

pretty much this or you can simply do blind test (your friend will plug in mouse and wont tell you the slot he used) and try to find the difference

all of that info won`t mean much if someone makes a isochronous mouse, the sent and receive end packets will kind of be sent at the same time, so 1000hz polling rate will feel like 2000hz polling rate

meh, its all about usb 3.0 having proper isochronous data, putting firewire out of business
