i like everything about the mouse except its pathetic failure speed. i've tested it on a few different pads and its consistently less than 2m/s and really pathetic on the goliathus dreadlocks edition which was around 1m/s. shape is also nothing like the abyssus. personally i'd replace it with an ec2a or fk2 or if you're quick to get over buyer's remorse go for the finalmouse 2015, which is an overpriced light mouse with awful build quality but very good 3310 implementation.
In my honest opinion there is only one single mouse which is worthy of my time and money anymore, and that is the Ninox Aurora. I have used dozens of different mice but this one is by far superior to all the rest. I cannot recomment the Ninox Aurora enough.
g100s is a small step down from the abyssus. The hardest part of the transition is that higher dpi the mouse just feels sluggish. If your playing with a lower dpi then it would be a good replacement.
Nope, it depends on the mouse and surface, but sure it's not an uncommon phenomena.
My DA 3G felt iffy on 450 and 900CPI, but on 1800 it was amazing, same with my salmosa and my abyssus, my sensei felt the same on any setting, my G502 felt very good on any step(though I never went above 1800), my G402 felt similar on all steps, same with my G302.
In contrast my xornet feels worse the higher I set the CPI, same with my G400, also in my experience high CPI + QCK is a no-no.
The gist of it is that different mice have different optimal CPI values, and it's still affected by other factors.
I think you will find that this is typically true, that is to say not true of all mice, but true of most. I'm referring to cpi's of over 2000 and climbing.
Mouse itself is horrrrrrible at new goliathous speed edition. Believe me or not, but at 3.500 DPI works the best for me, but now again i have problems with Aby. Sometimes when I LG someone I cant move left or right. Really annoying. While at 1800 and 450 dpi is unplayable for me. (playing at old razer control mouse pad (black). Newest update doesnt work, doesnt change jitter shit or that dead left right movements. I have started to hate razer. Switched so many razer mice. Im really interested now in Ninox Aurora :) Dont think there is any better mouse than this. Been checking at youtube
Behaves the same as an old one. either you get a lucky surface+mouse combo or you dont. Contrary to many beliefs it wasnt ever fixed on abyssus 3.5g newer revisions.
If you are even kind of rough with your equipment do not buy something made by razer. Buttons break easily. Generally low quality piece of crap even if they work well when they aren't broken.
The click delay has never been an issue for me or a majority of others who use the mouse. Is it higher than lots of other mice? Yes. Is it significant? No.
Shit I should really know to check the date of posts I'm replying too by now :c
How can anyone recommend the Aurora after all the drama going on on this site and on overclock.net
Just to put one example out of its many many flaws, everyone says Zowie has click delay issues but it's been tested and proven that the Aurora has a 50ms+ delay by software/firmware (waaaay above anything else) plus the constant issues with the buttons themselves (hardware), which make rocket jumping impossible or at least will have to re-learn how to do them, now with a delay in between clicks. None of those issues can be fixed.
Such huge delay between left and right clicks is a way worse flaw than what any Zowie or any other commonly recommended mouse has. Handicap in FPS games, straight up unusable in mobas and rts'.
Also, the click delay on BOTH buttons is similar to any logitech mouse, the 54ms delay is to delay a second click to stop false doubleclicks albeit it's implemented badly but is not what you described, the issue with rocket jumping arises mostly because of this issue because the buttons are not separated with regards to this function, the uneven buttons would almost be a non-issue if this was fixed because the buttons in practice actuate fairly similarly.
I'm not defending anyone, but your constant battery of the issue got old a while ago.
Have a + ... his constant whining about this is getting old really fast... same with the porosity guy.
I love my aurora.. most responsive lightweight mouse i ever owned.
Seeing as i use a rj script the delay when pressing both buttons is never been a issue.
And you can still do every other rj thats not max height reliably anyway.
Thats what the click delay does between the 2 buttons when pressed at the same time...
Thats why i say you can do any other rj reliably... a max height rj is unreliable.
The 54ms delay when pressed at the same time think happens maybe 1 in 5 times i attempt it.
It's fine but I got back to g100s after a couple of months cause of it's lower weight. Sensor itself doesnt make much difference unless you got over 40cm/360 tbh. Also made a g302 pcb + g100s(wanted 800dpi/1000hz by default) mod a while ago but the sensor is much more forward placed on it(by around 13mm) and i couldnt really get used to it either somewhy. Tracking seemed fine, but flicks were less controllable
I really can recommend the Zowie FK2.
Especially for fps gaming this mouse should be considered and it doesn't have the fancy LED lights which no one really needs.
The only contra I can say is, that the plastic surface flakes down on some areas of the mouse. So the finished quality is not equal to the price of it. Anyway - I would not buy another mouse cause of its preciseness.
This product is an answer to every gamer that was looking for the performance of the Avago 3310 sensor in an ergonomic mouse.
The new EC1-A and EC2-A series keeps the same shape and size from the original EC series and introduces the Avago 3310 sensor just like the FK series.
After releasing mice with different surfaces, ZOWIE GEAR understood that most people prefer the coating used in the FK and EC eVo CL lines and as such the new EC line will also use this coating.
The mouse is plug and play (no drivers needed) and has a low-lift off distance, signature features of all ZOWIE mice.
One of my friends who's SMFC got mad at me personally because quakers said the aurora mouse was good. He said it was total shit, and if he had asked me I would have said the same thing just by looking at it. That shape looks real bad for actual aiming.
CM Storm is not a mouse for everyone, I don't like it at all. It's not a claw grip mouse, it's a palm grip mouse. I just couldn't handle the hump on the side.
I'm using the G302 at the moment and it's a fantastic mouse. The buttons are good, I can click just as fast as I did on my g9x. ~135ms of humanbenchmark consistently when I tried it out. The shape is very good for aiming, arguably better than my shell-less g9x. The side buttons are quite good as well, and it handles my 6.9cm/360 well.
Only downside is the stability on this mouse is worse than my shell-less g9x when I spam click, but so is every mouse. The cord is way too big and stiff. I got it setup right with my mouse bungee, but it took some trial and error.

bought one from him, works like my old wmo
No drivers needed.
Just overclock usb and good to go. Unless you are pretty lowsens (~40 cm/360) and regularly hit high speeds
Its like that: I chase with LG someone and then it stop tracking while im still pushing mouse to the side. This is constantly happening. Every sec, impossible to aim. It feels like office logitech mouse for 3$
- Built quality isnt that great, plastic on the left side below side buttons is bending if you squeeze it abit harder which leads to clicking by itself even though you didnt press side button.
- Right mouse button issue, the button is very stiff and doesnt click well, 50% of the time i cant rocket jump (im using right click for jump), this issue of right mouse button has been on most of the Ninox Aurora mice.
If the mouse had logitech's built quality, it would be definitely one of my favs
My abyssus - cannot track at high speeds, when I swipe to fast it spas's out and looks in the complete wrong direction. Also synapse is one of the worst pieces of software I have came across, causes lag ingame and simply would not install... It is a good mouse but I would not reccoment it at all.
