DA sensor not being good? The DA has probably the best sensor out there. Some people even put it in the WMO (see wmoadder). (I assume people do it for the DA sensor..but not a clue, not really into it, but I guess it means something)

I have a DA Black Edition laying around, and I've been using it for ~4-5 years straight or so. I tested about 5-7 mices till I finally found a mouse which was able to compete with the DA for my likes. And honestly, I'd still say that the DA is def. better than my current mouse, but I feel like it's time to go on and give the DA a rest.

Yep, I do question quality of razer product, including sensor especially. The first and likely the last thing I've bought from razer was Abyssus Black 2014 mouse which I have played with a day and a half before I sold it because of the crappy senosr with horrifically high LOD. And that's for 50 bucks? Who the fuck they think they are, razer from what I expreinced myself is an overrated brand.

I've also kept on rambling on internet for more info on that DA 3.5 and I saw quite a few negative reviews which contain the LOD issue of 5-7mm again. I know now, I can use the tape to decrease it but still, in its original shape it comes out with, this doesn't cost its price nor justifies reputation. I have no idea why it has such good reputation lol.

I've never properly ducted a sensor with the tape so you tell me if this really works on this mouse. And tell me if the LOD issue does exist. DA black edition is the same DA 3.5g right? It looks exactly the same.

Well honestly, I just got used to the higher LOD, it was never really a big problem for me. Even when I first played with it back then, I didn't really notice a "bad" LOD. If you wanna reduce the LOD in another way, like lots of ppl do, just put 2 sets of mouse-skatez on, insead of just 1, it will half the LOD as well.

Are you a duel player? What's your elo? I don't want to sound negative but perhaps it's something only a more advanced player can notice.

umm, playing around at 1600-1750 Elo.

Anyway the skates thing really did it for me on my Kana v2, the LOD is very decent with that trick.

Maybe the newer editions are which I don't know for a fact but according to my experience with abyssus and the reviews on internet they are not flawless at all.

Abyssus 2014 is not the same sensor.

DA has a fantastic sensor but it does have high LOD by default.

The G5 sensor is shit. Any of g400/402/DA is better.

Sensors in 3.5G and 3G are some of the best out there. I'm playing on 3G with very low sens (now 47cm/360 and used to have ~ 56cm/360) and its perfect. But yes LOD is a bit higher, I just got used to it.

i bought the RAT TE a couple of weeks ago and so far its damn good. Im a finger tip gripper and its pretty comfortable. Also sensor is suposedly flawless and you can adjust the lift off height to your liking.
