[edited to remove hate speech against vigilante, of which i don't approve] but no, it's just you, jam-jam, with some pleasant (if nerdy) nostalgic remembrance from days of yore. thank you for holding back on the troll, and happy friday to you.
yeah, the three biggest ISP's in the country have blocked torrent sites and people who download torrent clients are allegedly (and yeah, i know that doesn't necessarily guarantee anything but i'd prefer not to take the risk) put on some kind of watch list, where the ISP can legally monitor all your activity and hand the data over to the government without warning or notifying you, whenever it feels like something illegal may be taking place (such as torrenting/etc).
On a side note, if teen is the only acting admin. Better be ready for extreme no nonsense, I guess. Can't imagine this dark scary wasteland being done by one person, without extreme control.
That or it gets even more Wild Wild West up in here.
Not quite.
We've got Demiurge who needs to step up his game a bit, but he's involved in every major decision regarding website policy.
wn steps in some times and mostly talks in the admin forum.
amOKchen and I will take care of bets, PerpetualWar seems to be back as well.
Flair is rather active lately both in contributions and deletions :P
Twister is still active, doesn't post as much but edits content here and there.
But to be fair we went through the deleted/nuked section yesterday and a huge portion of deletions were done by me.
Still extreme no nonsense is not expected, the things I delete are spam/advertising bot generated threads and a few anons who overstep the boundaries of good taste.
And head admin is not an option for me right now because there's too much work on database of which I poses no basic knowledge.
[+] for not trying to hide the fact that you nuked a buncha shit. not that i care, it just always makes me kinda wish i read posts more actively so i don't miss out on the to-be-nuked nonsense before it actually gets nuked. in any case, thanks for the time you spend keeping up with this silly collection of arguments that we call ESR.
Would be good if we can inject code or containers into threads to give a bit more expression to 20th century idea of what forums are like.
I think it would be interesting to have a forum which provides the ultimate functionality to its users to express themselves beyond the basics.
Even if you dialed it out to certain users, it would I am sure give some unique content from time to time.
Well just embedding flash containers or something along those lines.
Perhaps sketchfab stuff so people could do things with that stuff.
You could convert quake 3 maps to work and use it for presentations or explaining a point better. Even viewing new models from upcoming mods like reflex etc.
