I thought the same thing when I tried my friends G-SR. Lack of friction kind of sucks though.

lack of friction sucks? dam thats exactly what i like, so you think G-SR glides better then QCK its just less accurate for small movements and stopping cause of less friction?

I can't say that with 100% certainty, because I didn't test it thoroughly. For Example: When using a brand new SteelSeries QcK Heavy, I hate the break in period, because of the lack of friction. I would say it's my personal preference [having friction], but I haven't used the Zowie G-SR enough to judge it. I do actually plan on ordering a Zowie G-SR this week.

Those are very similar feel wise. Good amount of static friction (slightly too much for me personally). G-SR is more stable due to the next-gen base.

This stuff is very hard to quantify. Try them both. I prefer the new goliathus speed though.

I just ordered a grey zowie p-sr which is basically the smaller g-sr.
Will come back with comments on it. Been using regular qck for years.

I have that SteelSeries QcK+ NAVI Edition under my SS Rival Optical Mouse and It's best mousepad I ever had after some of Razer Goliathus / Qpad / other SS pads.

Okay got my Dark Grey P-SR 355 x 315 x 3.5 mm today.
Smaller than a G-SR and Qck+/Heavy but bigger than a regular Qck.


Here's a pic I took with a shitty camera. It looks darker and better IRL tho.

Two things I don't like are the edges that look like they could fray and the big blown-up logo. I'd prefer just having the small logo, simple & clean.

It's slower than a hard pad. I would describe the glide as fast as a worn down Qck but more consistent. Tracking around corners and controlling recoil in CS GO feels smoother. The material feels good to the touch with no chance of wrist burn. Will probably attract dust like a motherfucker.

Im surprised the glide isnt described as faster then what you did, also sad to hear it will attract dust. Thats my only issue with QCK is the loose weaves hold dust dirt and dead skin like no tomorrow.

Everywhere is out of stock so i got a little more time to decide what i want.

When I follow the link for the QCK there is no 'team edition'?

G-SR is a good solid product.

QCK is more entry level. The finish is not durable, it loses its finish fast, which is not ideal for consistency. It changes from low friction to medium friction in a few days of gaming and then stays at medium friction.
You can wash Qck, but every time the friction will rise considerably. Comparing a used, washed Qck with a new one is like comparing completely different pads.

The most special feature about the G-SR is the size: 470mm width, instead of the usual 400 to 440 of other pads.

There is also the Zowie G-SR Special Edition, which is not the same as the normal G-SR, I learned from RocketJumpNinja's review of it on youtube, it is faster then the standard one.
