Out of curiousity: How much episodes from season 2 have you watched in full length?

To the end, regretfully. You can really start seeing how otherwise good actors are struggling with shitty shitty script by about mid season. All sentences feel like they came from a small comic book square, and unjustifiably heart felt.

Its dialogue that is natural and not overly staged. Its different, yes.

There are different views, and there are bad products. This time, it's a bad bad bad product. I cringed at Vince Vaughn and his one liners

I must have misread your post - the dialogue in season 2 is anything but natural, it's painfully badly scripted in boasted comic-style short bursts

you want media to make you think? watch Fight Club, Id, ego, and super-ego (two of those are taken in that movie i dont remember which ones) are analized basically in the film. A mind blowing one.

if you have a sense for maginficient directing and are interested in making an analysis of interaction of direction/szenery(light)/music i can highly recommend "once upon a time in the west" from sergio leone.

if you want to deep think about a movies intentions, 2001 - a space odyssee will give you that. i watched it first when was like 13 or 14 and it blew me away, it actually has changed my life i think ( no, i dont think, i am sure =D ).

good laughs i got always from robot chicken and drawn together. i dunno much about other new shit, cause i dont have a tv for years now.

sometimes i watch cartoonseries of my youth like "odysseus 31". "captain future" or "marshall bravestar".

my favorite serious is Star Trek: TNG.

Are you asking me if I think True detective is boring? In that case, no! True detective is definitely up there among the very best series.

Regarding Mr. Robot, it is true that the pilot is better than both the 2nd and 3rd episode, but the show generally is very good. I fricking loved it. I can't see why Windows user would find the quality of the show higher, than Linux users. Screen time of the actual hacking/cracking/coding is minimal. What is cool though, is the reality/Genuineness regarding the IT. The terminology is correct and applied correctly. There are no flashy 3D-animated ‘hacking’ or other Hollywoodish bullcrap. The same goes for Silicon valley. Good stuff.

I guess we have to agree to disagree because Lost is fucking horrible and so is Arrow. The love drama between the main character and his girlfriend is unbearable. How you can call Game of Thrones mediocre is beyond me though. What's mediocre about it? The story is great, the scenography is great, the characters (and their development) are great. What does it miss?

I'll might check some of your other recommendations but something tells me that we're of completely different opinions regarding television =).

- Arrested Development (Really talented spoof on a soap-operas like Dynasty, funny as hell)

Japanese series:
- Ikebukuro West Gate park (No, its not anime at all, really funny stuff, somewhat like their version of Twin Peaks)

Drama series:
- Show Me a Hero (From the makers of The Wire)
- Olive Kitteridge (Its like a True Detective, but without crimes and with a bit of Bill Fucking Murray)

Animation series:
- Black Dynamite (Once into a blaxplotation, always into a blaxplotation)
- Archer (With a leading actress from the Arrested Development)

Old British series:
- Father Ted (Unforgettable)
- Fawlty Towers (Classic with John Cleese)
- Bottoms (An ideal british comedy)
- Black Books (was mentioned, but still)

What about the movies.
Try some asian guys, they're really different and absolutely amazing.
