It's true, the mouse gives some impressive fliks per your video. But I've already used a similar mouse, with purple breath light, and want to try something different. Plus it's unavailable on amazon.

g100s indeed can hit or miss but logitech warranty allows you to get free replacements and its dead cheap(oem version is about 15 dollars on ebay). its my main mouse atm and has been for a few months, no flaws. i use it driverless.

the aurora would not work on your mat (personal experience, btw that perixx mat is pish anyway) i used it for an extended amount of time without any problems. also that post you linked is a regular ordinary esr trollpost. and noone is forcing you to use thos extra buttons.

Can you recommend a better mat, preferably a hard surface? Clicking extra buttons is a little distracting, maybe enough to grab abyssus.

grainy makes twitchy sensors, and valleys in the grainy acts as a movement

wmo is okay if you only play quake

i think you should invest in a chair instead of a mouse.

Yes wmo is okay but at default 125hz polling rate you can clearly see the lag/skip caused by low polling rate.
If your windows version is under 10, overclock it to 500hz.
Unfortunately I switched to win10 and had to say bye to wmo.
Now I use abu2014 with almost no problem.
