Bad idea. Awhile back I used this and steam didn't like it and wouldn't even let me log in. Plus it opens your network up to the whole internet.

Your router likely asks for start port and end port in the port forwarding tab. Make sure you use two different numbers ie start port 27960, end port 27961. Also, make sure you fill in local ip as the network ip your router assigns to your computer. Here is a guide if you need to find out what your local ip address is. Also, don't worry about filling in the external entries.

Every router is different but I recommend the old port forwarding method.

check if you maybe connected with dslite. (ipv4 / ipv6)

If you have that scenario, you would need a port mapper.

lol, a port scanner won't be able to tell you anything meaningful about a UDP socket necessarily. you need to be sure that you're forwarding 27960/UDP and not TCP.

I have done all this. My local ip is opened in The router. To port 27960 to 65. But now it works.

Think The problem was with qlupdate.

Well, yes, it means the machine you put in the dmz is open for everything from the internet rather than just the few ports you chose to forward, really not recommended.
