Is there a way to enable to display my teammates name when I point my crosshair at them, like in old quake? I found the settings for it in the steam version too, but it has no effect for some reason. Any ideas how to fix it?
P.S. I'm not talking about the teammate marker, but cg_drawtargetnames

I might have missed something, but I used to have team names and crosshairs show only when I hovered the crosshairs on them, and the yellow triangles were only visible when the player model wasn't. I can't see an option to recreate that. It looks like the markers are always visible, even when the player model itself is visible?
