i wonder why agent continues to use this FOV. He's probably the only pro to even go higher than 105 fov.

Yeah, it seemed for a moment as a sigh of inevitable agents domination. But the truth is that a great part of his strength are those 100 000 (or moar?) duels he played that keeping his game almost automatical, full based on reflexes. And changing fov so dramatically it seems kicked that pillar of his play off his feet. Tsar simply found out that he actually HAS to play, to invest some of his precious energy instead of rolling his usual sweet routine while sipping Okhota beer. And Tsar is lazy as fuck, so he's back to the one and only righteous fov.

agent just needs to change his fov on lg or zoom with it then hes fine

This might be a good way to start the process but I think he needs to lower it for all.

Lower it for LG and rail. His rockets are awesome as is.

fov puzzled me lately, even though I am sure that the settings don't make the player.

in case of agent, since he has the worst aim from pro players, lowering his fov makes sense for sure (even his "bad" aim, makes sense with such a high fov).

Agent doesn't have bad aim. Only his lg is subpar, he aims well with other weapons

absolutely it would. The only advantage I got when using high FOV was being able to spot player models out of the corner of my eye. Lower FOV wouldn't have seen the model and you can see this when spec'ing other players.

I use 103 or 105 right now, I think. I have progressively decreased it over the years when I had it at 125 in RA3.

I remember once Rapha and agent played each other in an online cup, possibly one of the zotacs when Rapha was over in Europe for some lan event. This was when agent was still relatively unknown, anyways he beat Rapha and typed "gg noob" in the end, so cocky, great games iirc.

yeah, beating agent is no small feat, and doing it on 120 ping makes it VERY impressive.

rapha didnt won all the games, but doing it even once against european #2 with 120 ping is very strong, considering agent is playng tons of quake and rapha very rarely.

just watch the start on dm13. agent gets ra+mh spawn and still gets 3 frags behind.
