I got the SS rival 100. Really like it, good sensor and I like the shape (small / ambidextrous). Also came at a great price with a free qck pad.

There is nothing wrong with the sensor in the G402. Plenty of sensors are just fine these days. You just have to find a mouse that is comfortable.

Personally, I would go for something with the IME 3.0 or the Kana shape. Those are the two proven shapes. We have Silencep and Clawz all putting up 49+ LG with mice shaped like those.

I am a palm grip user. The mouse has to be larger in size.

What sensor does the 402 use? Any issues with it? How's the latency?

Sensor is called something like AM10101. No issues with it. It's a Logitech mouse, so click latency is just about the best you can get.

402 uses AM010 + gyro/accelerometer to make up for the sensor's low malfunction speed. According to the G402 users, it works just fine.

Click latency is at the same level with other Logitech mice.

What about Zowie ZA11?

The Zowie button latency issue is gone now with the current range, but it's only gone from bad to acceptable. There's still better mice out there in that aspect, though I'm sure you can still wreck heads at that latency. I did with the older Zowie models, I can with the new ones. There are definite moments where you can tell the difference though.

Like others in this thread, I think you'd enjoy the G402 the most. Other than that, consider the Zowie EC1 or Razer Deathadder.
