is NA interested in something like this? I've had a few people talk to me about it, but they were viewers not players. Only works if people play.

i don't think i'll be playing for a while, so won't participate, but i'd definitely be interested in watching a tourney like this in NA. could be a good substitute for a NA Duel Cup if you need to cut time short, or maybe do it on a non-Sunday to spread the quakage out a bit more over the week.

I think that most folks on ESR don't think that old maps are lame.

Then again, what's up with t7? It's not an old map, and as was suggested previously, it should probably be replaced with House of Decay (qztourney9 in QL, mptourney1 in Q3TA) or even Phrantic (preferably not the current D3/Q4-derived version, but the original one, nodm11/cpm24 from Q3, albeit I'm not sure if the latter exists in QL's mappool).

I'm still wondering why House of Decay (qztourney9/mptourney1/dc_map06) was pulled off... I've always enjoyed those violent PG fights on it. ;-)

I'm hoping there's no conspiracy surrounding RG-less maps in QL (both t2 and t9 are no longer played, and Phrantic is not too popular, even in PQL). But then again, we still have Lost World (dm13)...

I believe t7 was added early on in QL, not sure when.
So for QL it's pretty old.
As always it makes for interesting games.

In many ways QL isn't that old really, and I believe they made t7 exclusively for QL right? A release somewhere in late 2008 or early 2009. And afaik, it has been in about every tourney since then, so I understand why it's called "old".

But yeah, compared to ztn and dm13 it's pretty new. But this isn't Q3 ;)

Wins cup, says "champion! We are the champions!" Then turns on Queens song and sings with it :)))
