This is how I played Quake 3 for the first time ever.

I don't remember how young I was, all I remember is that me and my brother were pretty young, we had never played an FPS ever.

So our uncle set up the game for us, and my brother took keyboard and I took the mouse (it would have been too hard to learn both at the same time I guess), he put us on low difficulty and that's how I first played Quake 3. Fun times :)

Pretty sure my bro and I did that on Q1 as well...back when there was a "turbo" button on the PCs my dad brought home from work :) Then we set up a 3-machine LAN in our house so we could deathmatch with friends. Mom would make snacks for us and we'd shoot each other with shotguns and rocket launchers. Those were the good ol' days!

For starters they have always had the biggest player base, so there's that for one.

Also ton's of comps and development of quake, specially in the early days.

Don't forget that 125FPS is essentially a Russian organization.

Group B has some real potential for every match to be good.
Group A as well perhaps .... this group has a lot of players who (in my opinion) can be hit or miss.
It will depend a lot on their mood, and perhaps even their pants (or lack thereof)
