Well that's mainly because barely anyone on the site has played it yet, and I don't think the few who have are gonna spend any time expressing their thoughts yet.

Not saying that will change when the game is released but still, purely for categorization purposes it would be nice for OW (and also Wolfcam) to have their own sub-forums. Shootmania has it's own sub-forum :D

Sounds about right. I mean I'm a Quake player myself but I'm still open to new stuff even though most of the time it is crap compared to Quake, I guess they're just "trolling", "banter" or something. I think this game has a lot of potential and really supportive devs, its something to be optimistic about. This site sometimes has really good content when you trawl through the shit and it would be a shame to just rely on reddit, I prefer to discuss things with people who have Quake blood ;)

Those who are saying negative things are a vocal minority that live in the past and can't accept change for the better. Blizzard™ will put a lot of money into the game to make it a true esport and you can be part of that!

Furthermore, I have heard reddit is a good website for open-minded and forward thinking individuals, they have regular in-depth discussions about the cosmetics and in-game currency which are lots of fun and great value. Have a great day!

Played it during open beta. Its far far away from a real skilled arena shooter but it is fun. Gonna play it with friends just for the lolz. Paladins is also pretty good. https://www.paladins.com/ Its a little closer to a "real" shooter than Owerwatch. There will be a 100.000$ Paladins tournament at Dreamhack. Quake pros should have picked up Paladins just for this tournament. I am sure about their possible successes with Paladins unlike in OW where they got no chance imho.
