buy it on steam and just run the quake4ded.exe, or upload it and run it remote

i know, i install some servers with the tar.gz

1.4.3 can connect to 1.4.2
and it the same as 1.4.2 except of legal modifications and lecense

the api change probably added 100 new bugs and game crashes

maybe he is in Vladivostok or something. Russia is huge, they have multiple timezones.

His profile says he's from Novosibirsk, which is currently at UTC+6, that's 4 hours ahead of Paris which is at UTC+2.

If he says 21:00 is his local 3:00 it looks more as he'd simply added 6 to what he assumed is UTC time than he's from UTC+8 Irkutsk (Vladivostok is UTC+10). (Weird that he used AM/PM notation, it's a bit uncommon for Russians.)
