There is a better fix than the one previously discussed in a thread. Hopefully it works for the lot of you who's still having problems since it really is an inconvenience to kill the awesomium process everytime you've joined a server. Try this instead: rightclick on Steam.exe, choose properties/compatability and then in the droplist choose your OS. In my case it was Win 7. Works splendidly for me, hope it works for you people still having problems and for you who's using the "kill awesomium process" fix too.
