maybe it's a habit thing, but there is some inner nice feeling that i feel every time i witness / make a frag in q3/ ql that i just dont feel in any other game

maybe it's a sound and animation of robot breaking up on many many pieces i dunno

yeah.

i like reflex and enjoy watching cpma legends playing it. its fast and looks very responsive and polished and stuff.

but comparing to q-series, to my taste the overall atmosphere is too, well, how to put it, unserious? too "arcadish"? not sure if its precise definition, because both games are fps-arcades, basically, but reflex has more of "it", whatever it is. its like comparing street fighter and mortal combat or need for speed and gran tourismo - they're of the same genres but somehow i like mortal tourismo better.

editing was ok, simple and minimalistic (maybe a bit too much minimalistic :p)

but content was $$$$$ . Finally a movie where there is a lot of LG frags, very refreshing. Not the usual 24/7 air rockets only frag movies.

actually, it seems they have taken the opportunity with the new engine and mapping system to adopt lots of new maps. the vast majority of the played maps are exclusive to reflex.. that said, the old maps are there for your enjoyment aswell.

id say 90% of all reflex games are on new maps, and that might well be a conservative estimate.

Yeah, Reflex players still playing old maps, but they are in minority. Here some stats:
