I hate "camcorder" movies but Cloverfield is the exception and I fucking love it, mainly because the first time I saw it I had absolutely no idea what it was about, a friend just gave me a DVD with "cloverfield" written on it. That shit had me literally on the edge of my seat until the moment near the end when the helicopter crashed and I just had to pause it to comprehend how fucking amazing it was.

That kind of feeling can never happen if you see even 2 seconds of a movie trailer or even glance at the movie poster in Cloverfield's case.

Trailers these days are cancer of the earth.

depends if your player is good and what it can upscale too, and whether the blu-ray is just the blu-ray and has a higher bit rate then the version with the DVD + 10 hours of commentry on

like predator, there are 4 different versions of it, the only version you need is the 1 with the cover like

45 -> 65 inch tv's are modern, making a blu-ray look good is like trying to make a vcd look good on your 32 inch tv back in the day upscaling it from 340x280

1 day the UV code will cover the commentry over miracast and online connections, while the movies sticks to CBR 12,000 bit rates atleast instead of 4500 VBR

and ontop of that, only modern blu-ray and fully be upscaled to 4k on most players

Somewhat decent flick. Not worth a rerun tho.
