I use basically the same grip and also liked the Kinzu shape.

I am using a Roccat Lua right now which is quite good, but it is also small like the Kinzu. I don't have any problems with the sensor playing at 34cm/360, and it is nice and light.

G100s with weight removed was my favorite, but my original eventually had button problems and the last one I bought was counterfeit. Hard to get since they have been out of production for a while. If you can get one of these it is worth trying IMO.

I could always go with the kinzu v3, my problem with that would be questionable quality. The first kinzu I had only went 2 weeks before it started to randomly stop working. The one I have now is the same, it's weird that I can not use it for several months, and it may randomly start working again... for a few matches.

Would you say the Lua is close to what the kinzu is? How is the build quality and durability? It's around the same price as a kinzu v3.

I've heard great things about the g100s. The concern with that is build quality. I've heard so many conflicting reports of how long the mice will last. Many had to ditch it after a few months. It's cheap, yes, though I would love to not worry about durability.

I've heard so many great opinions on this mouse, it's great on paper, and for 30USD it's very tempting. The one concern seems the rattling, which I think can be repaired? The shape is what truly worries me. I've read some threads on ESR and it seems as it's best for fingertip/claw with hands smaller than mine. I might just go for it.

i use claw grip with g402, feels good. i'd like to try g303 but it looks wider than 402 where i'd grip it

Mine has no rattling. The shape is weird though, but I don't care - the sensor and buttons are so much better than anything else I can deal with it.

I have no rattling and have owned this mouse for about a year. The shape of it seems odd but it doesn't bother me. Its like the sports car of mice.

Ever try the EC2? Really dig it and i use a similar grip (bit more "clawey" on thumb tho)

I switched from fk2 to za13 (claw/fingertip grip). Feels awesome!

best small mice are (not in particular order, not from best to worst, only depends on your preferences and how you feel with the mouse):

- g303 (probably best sensor and buttons responsiveness/feeling, but weird shape)
- g100s (solid sensor, not the best, but does its job, very good and simple shape, but build quality only decent)
- za13 (excellent sensor, best build quality, shape that can suit many people, but buttons on the sides might annoy some people)
- ninox aurora (beware of mouse2 button, you might fail many rocket jumps cause of it, otherwise, despite some little "bugs", mouse works flawlessly)
- kinzu v3 (balanced mouse, not the best sensor but still a good enough one, not best shape but still good enough one, build quality quite good)
- ec2-a (C O O L L E R)
- razer abyssus 2014 (my current mouse, using it for maybe like 2 years now (used "old" version of abyssus for 3 or 4 years before it, same sensor for both mice) ? Solid sensor, good tracking, good build quality, not the best mouse in all domains, but balanced. For me it's the best small mouse i've ever tried. But i repeat, FOR ME, not for everyone ofc. Using it at 1800dpi 1000hz with razer synapse and it works flawlessly.)

How good is the abyssus played driverless?

you need to get latest firmware update in order to get perfect tracking at 1000hz (instead of 500hz by default without synapse), you can uninstall synapse after that, and it will keep it to 1000hz 1800dpi (default dpi setting).

So you can play with the aby driverless but will need to install/uninstall synapse at least once. And if you want anything other than 1800dpi, you're forced to use synapse, because it doesn't remember the dpi setting you've set after uninstalling synapse, it goes back to default 1800dpi.

if you don't mind 1800dpi then the aby 2k14 is perfectly fine at 1000hz/500hz without synapse.

Oh so it's possible. I've never used razer, but i've heard synapse is cancer.

I can't say i can feel the difference between dpi settings once you adjust the sensitivity. Unless the sensor has other problems (like g100s only working good at 1000 dpi), dpi number should theorically be irrelevant in reasonable intervals (above 400, below 2000 or even more)

i have synapse installed and no problems whatsoever. I have it for both my headset (razer kraken pro) and mouse (razer abyssus).

i heard the razer abyssus native dpi is 1800 anyway, so using 1800 is just perfect tbh (from my experience aswell) :)

Another question came to mind:if you install synapse, refresh the firmware, and uninstall synapse, then it means the aby has an internal memory? Why can't it remember the other settings?

it's not really internal memory , it just remembers the polling rate, but not dpi, leds, buttons customization etc

you can update firmware on almost any mice afaik (even those without internal memory), as long as it's available with drivers or other programms

The Abyssus got some nice curves, and it's not terribly expensive, i may give it a shot now that my g100s buttons are dying

there's the abyssus v2 now that is out, it has same sensor as g100s, but with different name and slightly improved, you might want to look for it at razerzone.

this Dell Mo56ua mouse is the worst ive every had. then again the Kinzu and the Razor abyssus i smashed agasint my head right before i went to good will and bought this one, was much betterds.

with those hands i would say go with a MUCH bigger mouse, Roccat XTD optical maybe, biggest i can think of. I dont think you would have trouble clawing that, since your hand REALLY looks strained to the point of almost bending inwards on that zowie

You can get a 3310 mouse with same shell: Dream Machines DM1 Pro or wait for DM1 Pro S if you wanna 3360 (still same shell).
