Hi there,

one month ago my xl2411t started showing static:

I fixed it by replacing the capacitors on the power pcb.

Since that happened to a couple of friends as well, i made a quick replacement guide
here.

How to fix damaged electrolytic caps

Symptom: after monitor’s splash screen, image is totally distorted.
At start, the issue solves itself after seconds or minutes,
then it persists until the screen can’t even turn on.

Thank you steffo, I managed to repair my 8yo XL2411T with your amazing guide, I had 4 capacitors dead on the power PCB. i paid less than 5 euros for the capacitors and fixed it myself.

This is an old monitor without displayport, its cheap but has many issues.
