I don't really feel the reason (bandwidth) given was suitable, on top of which its one which can be easily resolved and I feel it sets a bad precedent.

Despite the post count, one can only assume the images and gifs on it are the main culprits (assuming the reason was bandwidth and not political)

So, I have identified there are 31 images on the thread which in total are around 5.32mb per page load (atm) which I have made easy to resolve and would take a few mins work, which is surely not beyond our admins for a thread with over 1300 replies, and less than a year old?

The below would take a few mins to implement.



As you can see only 11 of those images are over 100kb

So, I would kindly ask ( I sent him PM) pacman.pl to delete his gif image which is 1211kb as its not important to the thread and is the biggest hog.
