I would say so especially if its new. It has less input lag, slightly bigger/better size. Better colors, higher hz, well everything with it is better =P

Yeah I can see that, but the question is; will I really feel the difference in ms and hz? 270 euro is a lot for something not totally necessary :D.

I made that very switch a couple years ago. Here are my pros cons and neutrals

+ way better stand. 2233RZ wobbles like crazy and can fall over easily. ASUS is very sturdy and also 1000x more adjustable.

+ ASUS has bigger screen. 24" vs 21.5"

- compared to 2233RZ, ASUS is super bright and sharp, which hurts my eyes, especially in a dark room.

~ The #1 reason I dropped $300 on this monitor was to try LIGHTBOOST, which turned out to be laggy as shit and also required 100 brightness. No thanks. Without lightboost, I did feel like I was aiming a little better with the ASUS, BUT I warn you that it was probably placebo. If I switched back to my 2233RZ now, I would probably aim the same, so if you are only looking for a HZ improvement, I don't recommend buying the ASUS.

Ultimately, I didn't switch back to the 2233RZ. The reason was the stand. It really really sucked. I live near a fault line, so if there is a small earthquake, I know the 2233RZ will fall over and break. If I bump the table, I'm afraid the monitor will fall and break.

In hindsight, I should have just bought a better stand for the 2233RZ, since it is VESA compatible.

I tried the asus too and sticked to the 2233rz. Dont believe in people saying colors and everything is better. Its not true. Only better response times/size in exchange for contrast ratio/ colors. Its not worth it.
