Not me man, I never wanted to be Slendie. I naturally gravitated to the position after being exposed to quake for a year. The tox community bridged to my personality and then I been feeding off of it. It's like.. fuck man.. i don't know how this shit got into my head.. I feel like an evil mother fucker sometimes.

hey mate not sure if this is real or not but I can admit I was pretty toxic back in the day. Honestly learning how to control it or channel it in another way just comes with age and experience. Toxic behavior normally extends from competitiveness but breeds of theory (i'm better there, that shouldn't happen, if team mate didn't do this, etc). There is a few points you have to understand

1) You're not always wrong. But you can't change what already happened with words or toxic behaviour. Think more about what is in your control and try to improve

2) Games don't rely on "one moment". Games rely on a series of events or moments that lead to that "one moment". So don't be so critical that one play didn't go as planned. Think about what happened prior to that moment and what can be controlled or changed by you

3) It's just a game for some people but maybe not to you. Maybe it's your time to yourself after work/school and you don't like to waste your time. But in the end it is just a game, a way to improve yourself, relieve stress, feel a high, what ever it is.

4) Take breaks from gaming do other things. Everybody gets burned out and frustrated. Play another game, find a hobby or do something else you're interested in, watch movie/tv series/music etc.

5) Accept that sometimes you can have a bad game, it's not anybody's fault it's not even your own fault. Sometimes you will feel more switched on, aim feels better etc. Maybe do step 4 if you're not running so well

6) Every gamer is a person as well. People don't pick up games that well but enjoy to play for what ever reason. Maybe they don't have friends in real life and like to find friends online? You taking your anger/agression/frustration out on somebody is not a good way to make yourself feel better. Put the shoe on the other foot, maybe it's not gaming maybe it's a sport you're not very good at or haven't played. You try to learn but all the experienced players just abuse you, but you really enjoy playing and want to learn still. It's still bullying and it's heart breaking what can happen to people with mental illness

7) Lastly, chill the f* out. Life is short. Enjoy everything, just enjoy playing even if you think you're a god at the game challenge yourself, we as humans are always learning and bettering ourselves. You can better yourself and learn to be a less toxic gamer.

No just go through this all myself and am old. Work in IT. One day if new website works out well would like to do public speaking for gaming youth. Feels like the next generation of gamers really struggle with social etiquette both in game and out and often use this behavior maybe to escape reality, don't know any better or for the same reasons I list above

I appreciate your thoughtful response. Here's my response:

1) I want to control what I say without sounding toxic. So far, it seems like everything that comes from my mind is toxic. Even things that are supposedly nice comes off as arrogant. I don't know why but yes, everything i say is insulting.
2) I always felt like I have control over situations past / present and that's the main reason why I take advantage of everyone's time by raging because people know that i'm the type of person to rage, so I fit the mold of other people's perception
3)Oh, I'm quite a productive person already which affords me lots of leisure time to troll on the internet.
4) I already have been taking breaks from the games. I just recently vacationing at Maldives and came back completely refreshed.
5) This is the main problem. Everytime i get fragged even when I'm winning, I rage. It's like I have this mentality that If I get fragged, I will rage just for the sake of raging. It's like I can't explain it.
6) Yeah this is the thing.. I feel like I'm better than most top players even my CA rating is just 1900. I don't feel intimidated by guys like k1llsen or kgb because my mentality is so wicked strong.
7) Life is short but I also kind of enjoy trolling sometimes, but other times I feel extremely toxic to the point where I think I am literally the devil himself. It's sickening

And also, it seems like you don't know who i am since you asked me to add you on FB which is cool but man. i don't do that shit. But yeah man.. I think it's really due to my self-confidence leading to all this trouble on the internet. I am exactly the same way in real life. Everywhere I go I seem to attract attention from people who want to put me down. They want to break my ego because i act like i'm a champion all the time and I also act extremely toxic.
I used to be a nice guy until I realized how futile being nice was to people beacuse people in the end just wanted to take advantage of me for my money.

Without travelling too much further into your apparent joke/troll thread. If you really want to change then just do it. If you enjoy your current internet persona because it's reminiscent of your childhood then that's fine too. As we grow older our perceptions, beliefs and understandings change along with us, we either change for better or for worse. I could leave you with plenty of inspirational quotes about reforming but if you don't have the belief of wanting to improve yourself as a person that's your choice.
