Mass effect and witcher 3

Ah, witcher 3 is next on my To Play list :-)
Wanted to wait for my new rig first, bc ability to play max settings.

About to finish Wolfenstein TNO now, surprisingly good game, too.

Make sure to play The Old Blood as well, most people say TNO is better of the two but i disagree, both are great but Old Blood is just icing on the cake.

Far Cry 3
Mass Effect Trilogy

Ah, yeah the far crys are good - far cry 3 was stunning and so smooth to play.

It's such a filthy console port though. Love running around and show casing the graphics, but the amount of issues and the fact it's on full lock down so no modding or community fixes, makes this game dead.
1. Microstuttering - the config is limited but none of the options people have mentioned worked on getting rid of the blur when you move around
2. Engine - Super bad optimizations, it makes my GPU run at 99c and when I use the mild overclock its around 104c. Constant 'Nvidia drivers have stopped working' messages. Common complain about this game on overclocking forums
3. Hit registration - headshots go through running/standing targets, bullets will hit invisible armor randomly. It's easier just to knife people
4. The game is boring, not enough action and too many cut scenes you can't get out of. I play it with my browser open so I'm doing something else meanwhile.

There is others to list but yeah these are major issues for the game, fine if you just want to walk and admire the graphics. Plenty of cool spots and places to drive to

What? Game was working flawlessly for me. I don't recall single issue with it. I don't know anything about multiplayer because I played SP only and it was great adventure in terms of storyline, atmosphere and really enjoyable gameplay. The open world they created in this game was very convincing. All characters were really well developed (especially Vaas), but others too. I felt like I really was there and met these people. Great game. I'm gonna play sequels soon for sure.

I stopped reading at 'bears in this game are too small'.

Give me a name of FPS that had the same elements of the game, but made better. The game isn't perfect, but no other title came that far.

I don't know about bugs, because I played game 4 years after release so maybe all of the major ones where already fixed.

Sadly I quit. I dont have enough time to race properly. Real life duties you know. My last lfs race was in 2014. I was very dedicated back than. I have a total of 22237 laps (96400 km) in lfs with 162 race wins. :D

Sometimes i fire up offline Assetto Corsa just to have some fun with "real" cars in "real" tracks. Nordschleife is pretty awesome in AC! Love it! Specially with McLaren MP4/4, Mercedes-Benz 190E DTM or with the Ferrari 599XX.

But yeah sim racing is tons of fun! I miss it soo much! :(((

Recently bought a Logitech G920 as it was on offer at the time and can use it with my Xbox and PC... although I only really play AC now when I'm doing some driving. AC was recommended to me on the simracing Discord server and loving it, not played for a little bit though.

it used to be that the G27 gave the most bang for the buck, but since the G920 came out (which is almost identical) you pay more, and you dont get a shifter that the G27 did come with.

Fanatec also raised the prices about a year and a half ago. While they might have the higher end gear, my personal bang for buck award goes to a T300 kit with upgraded pedals :>

last year or early this year I played it through on retropie I think, but it wasnt always running 100 % fluent on it ...
Super Metroid is just a legendary game, the gameplay is great, the 2d graphics are great, the sound is great, the replayability and non-linear gameplay are great, the skill you need with wall jumping all the abilities ... :-)

Mass effect trilogy was really cool. Finishing it was like having to say goodbye to family, felt kinda bad for some time.
Skyrim was very good, too. Triggered me to play Elder Scrolls online, which is a nice game.Been spending at least 500 hrs in there, but QL finally took the best of that one. Reminds me of ending 3-monthly pay...
DOOM was surprisingly good. Almost got me back to the good old days. Almost.
Still playing Fallout 4, pretty good.
For some reason I liked Gothic III very much, too (Gothic I and II also, Pearls of Games, but these are older). Even tho it was buggy as crap.
And Risen. Beautiful. Didn't even finish Risen II. Risen III is somewhere on the pile of 'maybe imma try somewhere in time games'.
Come to think, of it... Most games on my 'best games list' are +10 years old.
But in the end, Quake(Live) has brought me the most intense and memorable hours of gameplay. By far.
Still going strong :-)

The Bioshock series, those games are so freaking amazing ! the story for each game ( they are linked actually ) is so awesome and full of mind-blowing twists, the gameplay is fun too, i recommend the series to everyone.

Also, Fez, the game is not big or anything but it is really nice, it is fun and challenging and " peaceful " if that makes sens lol.

Else, i dont remmeber, i find it hard to enjoy anything after playing Quake 2, most games are slow and boring for me nowadays.

Rainbow Six: Siege

Honestly, this game surprised me and I love it a lot. It's pretty different and there is a lot of depth to it. Been playing it for a long time now and there is always something new to learn.

Well, aside from the 1000 bugs and the utterly broken netcode, it's a fun time waster. Considering it's an Ubisoft game, we can be happy its not 5000 bugs.

Frankly the only bugs I've had issues with are the Hibana charges not going off and people being able to vault through enemies in impact holes (useful vs. montagne holding a impact hole). Long waiting times are annoying but I don't really mind them, gives me time to browse forums/discord/irc. Netcode is somewhat problematic in some circumstances, but CS has hardened me to this kind of bullshit. For me the game is fun by myself and with friends.

Tribes Ascend and Tribes Revengeance, a Tribes Vengeance community project. Few people play it, but it's the highest point FPS games ever reached before everything turned into army/SWAT simulators. Fast, an original movement system that doesn't look like derp (derp-hopping), weapons with inheritance, lots of game modes, lots of maps, even has a single player campaign and it still looks amazing too. The only thing bad about it is the vehicle physics, everything else is great.
