G Pro masterrace

I know from the overclock.net forum it's not half bad.

But if you like the classic shape, why not go for the Logi G Pro, the sensor is obviously much better.

Also you can debraid the G Pro cable or even replace it with a more flexible self-made cable made from paracord.

The sensor is amazingly good on the g102. Compared with the g303 and g100s i can actually aim with this mouse. Unfortunatly is much too small as expected and the clicks are a bad joke. Not even zalman m600r level for me. They are really really bad. Some people said their clicks feel good, but most of them say at least one of LB / RB feel defective.

the sensor in g303 and G Pro is muuuch better still, and G Pro has the identical shape so there is that.

I doubt anyone would dislike the best sensor to date, it takes maybe a week to go from heavy prediction to predictionless, worth it imo
If you don't like the shape look elsewhere, like deathadder chroma or different mouse with 3360/3366 sensor.

I read quite i few times that people prefer 3310 over 3360. I was not too amazed by the g303 version of this sensor as well i have to admit. I didnt like the feeling on 1000hz (i think i was playing 1000 or 1600 cpi back then) On 500hz it was much better, but still couldnt say it was really amazing. I still think the sensor of the original G9 feels the best. I checked the cursor behavour in paint of this new mercury sensor (g102) and the diagonal lines look almost as good as the ones of the 6090 (G9)

I can relate if you chose your mouse by shape, manufacturer, price or availability and that's the reason to chose the one with an older gen sensor (or a "budget" sensor like the "mercury" sensor of G102).

But in direct comparison it's a clear case to me, so I have a hard time believing anyone rejecting the 3360 itself.

The shape of course plays a major role, if you are not comfortable with the 303 that itself says nothing about the sensor. If you prefer 500Hz or low dpi, use it. That also says nothing about the sensor

500hz is enough for me, but there are mice which just feel the best on 1000hz. So i use that. However the 3366 is not one of them.

But reading your sentence "I know from the overclock.net forum it's not half bad." i presume you didnt even try the mercury sensor found in the g102.

Regarding build quality, I too am very picky about button click feeling, a good mouse simply has to be flawless for me, I won't settle for less.

That's why I always complain to the manufacturer or seller for any flaw in a new mouse, which you should too.

Not me. I managed to go away with the dm1pro where the buttons feel not even average, for like one year now. The buttons on the g102 are just impossible. Even the right mouse button which is not defective (at least not by switch actuation sound compared to the left one) feels not even average. Its like theres way to less pre travel. I did quite a few mousemods in the past and it feels like the buttons inside the shell are too highly placed.

btw, about your mouse recommendations, i already ordered the nixeus revel yesterday. Will have to see if that was a good decission and how good this mouse is for modding. Got my dm1pro sensor postion down to the ss xai's 6,5 cm. But guess that also works somehow with the nexeus revel.
