Agony does look good for sure, i like gothic / dark atmosphere with hellish and gory / weird stuffs, it also reminds me of Requiem: Avenging Angel, an old game on pc about an Angel leaving purgatory etc...
Am also looking forward for the Nintendo Switch, am a huge fan of Nintendo ( since it is the only company that cares about fun and gameplay more than graphics, and they are the best at it )
I dont really like emulators, they are useful when you dont own the console but i'd rather get the console and play the games on it.
I dont really like the ps4, there are some nice games on it but most games are FPS -18 stuffs in which you jsut run and kill, the only good thing about it is the awesome graphics that's all and am more into gameplay and fun than graphics, that's why i like Nintendo stuffs :)
I was referring to their more detailed announcement happening january 12th. I'd think the overall experience would be different anyway. Playing on a smart phone compared to a proper console just isn't the same.
It's not like you can play upcoming Switch games on an xperia. Ultimately, you buy a system because you're interested in the games that are on it. I'm sure as hell more hyped about the new Zelda and Mario than I am about any game on the xperia. If Nintendo games aren't your cup of tea, then yeah, sure, no need to waste money on the switch.
Just to bash on the whole emulation aspect, yes it's nice if you're techie and enjoy the whole feel of building your own self sufficient "console" Kudos if you like that type of thing.
However, the nostalgic feeling of owning the console, inviting buddies around, getting pizza and beers and chillin, you can't emulate that.
