Just make sure music syncs well, and if it's 13 mins, divide it into segments to give viewers some "rest".
For syncing scenes with music it's easier than it seems, as long as the rhythym itself is easy to sync to. Basically comes down to matching the frags with the spikes, together with a bit of trial and error, but movie editing software makes this process quite easy.
Wolfcam is really versatile but you want to take some time to learn all the keybind shortcuts for efficient work later on.
Frags need to be exceptional, this is the most important thing obviously. Production close second. Also something to shoutout to the community/humor/ingamerage makes your movie stand out from the most cookiecutter vids we get.
For instance I rewatched BRUME almost 10 times because some of the frags are just mindblowing and the pace is steady and Ryan_H offers his viewers breaks in between frags as in new soundtrack or slowmo etc to maximize the hype before another reel of frags get presentated.
Except for 3rd person shots, don't use footage from demos. Use footage recorded with OBS instead. It's more accurate and also has your config instead of an ugly, shitty wolfcam config.
No shitty post processing. No black and white. No weird colors.
Having decent content really helps. Frags should be good and I mean really good. Series of frags are even better, but again the frags should be good or show something extra ordinary.
I play the video, if it has eye cancer config and effects i instantly close it, if frags are good and cfg/editing is watchable ill watch it until it ends, music is always shit so i mute it every time.
ow do you sync the frames captured individually with the sound captured in the game?
I'm not sure what you mean. Just capture the frame and the sound at the same time.
Anyway, about the length of your fragmovie, the only thing I have to say, is the longer your fragmovie is, the better it needs to be to keep the spectator's attention for that long. But at the same time, the longer your fragmovie is, the more chances there are that there is some lower quality content in there.
So essentially, unless you have a goldmine of great frags, I would advise you to make it shorter.
But at the same time, my main advice is to not care, make a frag movie for you. The vast majority of people will watch it once and be done with it (or even less than once), you will be the one watching it multiple times, so make it so that you like it the most.
Choose music that will sound cheesy as fuck in 10 years time when we all watch it again and talk about the 'old days', and edit in cooller talking random shit )
Not more than 15 seconds of logos-and-lots-of-third-person-cams intro except if the music really demands it (rarely the case), you have something to say, or if it's funny (see kicked and removed).
