Fucking WIi and the Wii-U had about ten good games between them and the rest were shovelware.

Although I don't agree with your last point, the Switch has potential. The new Mario looks to be like Sunshine and 64 in terms of open worlds (about fucking time even though the Galaxy games were great), and the new Zelda looks fucking slick.

I'm sure the game library will grow to be awesome in time. That doesn't excuse their piss poor launch lineup though. I thought they would've learned from their previous launches lol.

New Zelda is all I can care about.

Play it on the CEMU emulator using the Wii U version and save some money. Although they will probably put something in to stop it working with the emulator I reckon.

Tbf, they haven't cracked down on Dolphin so I doubt they'll go to the effort.

But there's no new games coming out for the Gamecube or the Wii. The guys who make the CEMU emulator may put a block on it themselves, unlikely but it could happen.

I already got Wii U recently and I like supporting game developers.

I only support Game Devs who don't go full retard, Ninty have been fucking up for years, ruining one of my favourite game series (Paper Mario). On top of just producing shitloads of shovelware and releasing about 10 good games in total, I'm not going to spend 300+ quid on something with only a handful of games I'll actually buy and play.

TTYD is one of my favourite games of all time, I feel your pain. Sticker Star is a piece of garbage and while I haven't played Color Splash, it has the same garbage mechanics, so I'm not going to support that piece of shit by buying it. That being said, I'm cautiously optimistic when it comes to Paper Mario. Zelda is going back to its LoZ-roots, Mario to its 64/Sunshine-roots. Perhaps the next PM-installment will go back to its roots as well.

Common opinion? Do you even know what you're talking about? CEMU is a great emulator and can run many games at 60fps and at 4k resolution. I don't even have a decent PC and running Mario World 3D and Mario Kart at 60fps in 1080p.

If your talking solely about it's performance in Zelda, the first release to support it was only released last night and already plays the first area albeit at lower fps. It's only a matter of time until it can play it in it's entirety at better fps and resolution than the Wii U and Switch versions.

You realise there's alot of computer illiterate people who just see that these games can be ran on their PC's and then ask the same questions a million times without doing any form of research. These same people will then download CEMU for the first time after hearing it will play Zelda then find that it's running it at about 15fps and claim emulation or the emulator is shit. Check the reddit or whatever else emulation sites to see this.

it seems this is not a general emulator, but it needs to be adapted specially for each game ... not even the old zeldas run well, a lot of sound issues/glitches and even crashes from the review, and this reviewer probably didnt really play through all these games, so he only saw the tip of the iceberg ...
and you also need a really good computer to run this emulator

well tbh., in terms of zelda breadth of the wild, it really sucks ass :-), as you can see in numerous reviews ... excellent releases you say, I wouldnt say a release is excellent if there are sound problems and glitches and many games do not start ... this emulator is probably suited only for a small set of games ... and you also need a highend system ... even the previous zeldas for the wii u are not working according to this review, and they are out for numerous years already ... why go through all this hassle trying to find the game images only to see it doesnt really work, or the game crashes after some minutes of playing ... yeah, the emulator might be a good effort with excellent releases, but it cant be an alternative to the wii u in any way, in contrary to what u said in ur comment, its just a playaround gimmick, thats all, u better save urself from a lot of frustration trying this out and better invest in the real thing

I don't think you understand the market the way Nintendo does. Sure, they aren't king shit in town llike they were in the beginning but they have a highly identifiable brand. Nintendo, like any bigger game developer, can produce trash games and get by without a single cent wasted - that is to say, why waste time and money producing quality games when the end result in sells is nearly the same. People will eat up anything, doesn't have to be quality. Besides, the innovation that came with Wii (motion controller) is still more desirable to the average idiot with kids consumer.

I beg to differ. There IS innovation. Just look at the controllers. Even though there are somewhat similar joysticks released before, it is somewhat "new" in that a major company actually incorporated it into their own product. It is still too early to tell if the Nintendo Switch will be a success or a flop. But for me, I am actually pretty excited about it.
