With these types of maps, any music more tense than Enya would probably give people heart palpitations. These torture maps are insane to watch. My palms were sweaty and felt electric while I was watching.

This is phenomenal. Nosf, you have my undying gratitude for making this movie. I'm not true defragger myself, I only played a bit in q3 and a bit more in ql but I tried torture maps and those are hard. Hard for that measure that after trying to complete the map for 1,5h and beeing able to make it just to the middle you give up and think how useless you are. But the moment when you finally make it, even if it took you 10 minutes more than for some pro defragger on the server is just indescribable. Euphoria on the highest level cause you made something that is so hard to do, and you didn't even expect that you actually can do it.

Watching this video made me think how beautiful this game is. Community made a mode where you can try your skills in movement, and after a time it begin improve so much, that you are able to do things that was unthinkable when the game was created. And now, you watch some random guy doing insane stuff, on insane maps, designed by other random guy and I don't see just some jumping around, I see determination, fury, believe and success. You need to have incredible skill to finish those maps, and I bet that it took many hours if not days to complete with satisfying record. I'm proud, I'm impressed, I'm grateful.

This movie will become legendary for me, because it doesn't show things that avarage person in quake could do, it shows things that when you think first you think "its impossible" then you think "but that guy did it" and you wonder could I? For me answer is fuck no, i'm not any goddamn magician :D
