There has been some concerns if the champions reach a maximum movement speed quite quickly , making defrag a non option , did you notice anything as such ?

Also, projectiles through teleporters ? i guess grenades doesnt bounce on bouncepads , since .. there is no grenadelauncher ?? :\

Even tho grenade launcher is one of the most iconic weapons of quake, im kind of fed up by all the grenade spamming , grenades love me.But .. one of the weapons that has ever been in 1 quake, that was awesome and skillfull and fun to use .. throwing grenades from quake2 ,, that would be a nice substitue actually . Now there is no weapons to shoot "around" corners , which might actually lead to more action , the more i think about it .. the more interested i am in trying a quake without grenade launcher .

Finally a footage featuring proper strafejumping. I was worrying more and more...

My only worry is that what made Q3 so special was the mod support and custom maps. Without it, it would have not been such an epic game for me.

I hope we will at least have custom maps support.

Im all for custom maps, as its these that has made quakelive a little more interesting over the years.

However graphics are often dictated by map design, and graphics is important today for the general public.

So , map contest, best map gets officially supported and worked upon to up the design\graphics\atmosphere.

shocked to say this actually shows a lot of potential. fov seems weird, but ql fov seemed weird when i first played it as well. enemymodels seem weird also, but the game seems to feel right. physics seem good, movement seems to be good, rockets look weak as fuck but that's probably just slasher sucking ass.

Thats the shit you buy with the in-game currency - "Favors" (which you should be able to buy for $$$ or earn in-game).

on the other vid with pql champ you can see player using custom weapon skins which will propably come from the lootboxes - quake 1 rl model included

At 4:00 minutes in the video you see something brake to the left on the screen, its pretty big. Looks like it breaks when it takes damage. Anyone know what it might be? I have seen it on other videos aswell.
