Its not as ridiculous as it sounds. Timing has become too much of a crutch in my duelling. Im not thinking anymore just timing.

Pretty sure you have to create a custom hud for that.

if you are using the default quake live hud, here is one way to do it:

go to your quake live baseq3 folder
open pak00.pk3 with winrar
open /ui/hud.menu with a text editor
search for "timer" or other things you want to hide
change visible 1 to visible 0
save the file

you can also make a custom hud on top of that with timer invisible, and another custom hud with timer visible, and then a keybind to toggle loadhud A or loadhud B
