144fps or 150fps actually feels smoother than 250fps. I mean with 144hz monitor refreshrate. I tried them all (all fps values i mean) and like i said 144 or 150fps = smoothest.

If you have problems with ghosting/blur, either go to 120 Hz or disable blur reduction.

It doesn't REALLY support both at the same time.

disable windows virtual memory, and get a extra 5fps without your 6GB/s SSD bottlenecking 40x16mb textures being taken for every new frame render, which causes all the blue textures and texture popping when the frame has timed out, so the textures are skipped or lagged

none, unless you play doom 4, have your texture cache to big the game will crash, it uses a custom page file stored in physical ram, so the graphics cars has 22GB/s + to fetch all uncompressed textures at the same time without your 6GB/s SATA 3 hard drive bottlenecking which leads to texture popping and blue/green textures

id are too lazy to check your memory size when you set the texture cache, so i fixed it in my doom 4 launcher

no its not, if you physical ram is full, then virtual memory gets used, then your GFX cards gets bottlenecked, and has to wait for textures to arrive or timeout on every new frame render, if you 6GB/s can only transfer 12 uncompressed textures at once, after the max spike speed of windows 100MB/s file copy ends up with

"Windows cannot find 'sysdm'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

im currently considering to buy myself a gtx 1080 ti as soon the custom editions come out. i really wanne hit max fps in qchamps, even i will play with low graphic settings.
i feel like the gtx 970 wont be powerful enough for the game.

you like the zowie AM ? If so, get yourself a zowie ZA12, same size, almost (almost) same shape but better, 3310 sensor, better dpi steps options (400 800 1600 3200), lil better build quality.

if you're enjoying your zowie AM (3090 sensor in it), you will just love the ZA12! :) It's even better.

I have the ZA11 (same size as steelseries sensei), which is bigger/longer than ZA12 (and ZA13 is smaller, i'd say pretty much same size as kinzu/abyssus), and it's the dream mouse for me.

went from kinzu v1 (shit mouse except shape and ok build quality :D) to abyssus (very good mouse) to zowie AM (good mouse but weird dpi steps and shape is rather strange at the sides) to zowie FK 1st edition (better shape than AM but a bit too flat and still the same dpi steps issue :D) to abyssus again, to abyssus 2014 (same as "normal/old" abyssus but with better build quality and less agressive shape) to zowie ZA11 (pretty similar shape to steelseries sensei, big back, less flat than any version of the zowie FK), and never looked back so far (been like 9 months or something now with the ZA11).

also, not related but if you get an 1080Ti you'll run QC np with your current rig. GPU matters MUCH more than CPU @ recent games, especially FPSs. And i5-6600K is actually a very fast CPU, more than enough for basically everything :).

I'm looking to get either a ZA11 or a ZA12... The problem is that my local store don't allow returns (yeah it's shady), so I have to choose wisely.

You seem to have tried both... Can you tell me why you preferred the ZA11, especially since you seem to have played with smaller mice in the past and use high sensitivity?

Also, have you noticed any improvements in FPS (in say, OW) by adding the RAM? I also have 8GB atm.

I use the biggest version of ZA because I have rather large hand and in my case it gives me a bit more surface to grip/grab.

i don't mind rather big mice as long as they are ambidextrous. Can't play as good with ergonomic shapes.

I also like sensei's shape and size, which is why i picked up the ZA11.

i guess get the ZA13 if you got small hand, ZA12 if you got "medium" hand, and ZA11 if you got large hand.

16GB of ram doesn't give me more fps, it's just that i can have many applications/software open at the same time without suffering from micro "freezes" and all these kind of stuffs when you don't have enough ram

also i plan on streaming, so needed more ram for it.

and finally i'm pretty sure that QC will "eat" a pretty high amount or ram, so i wanted to be sure to have enough :)

so like i said, doesn't give you more fps, only prevent micro-freezes/ longer loading etc

hey dudes, wanted to give you a little update.
ive ordered the za12 and just got it the other day.
even with the shape is a little bit different to my old zowie am,
the za12 felt comfortable within the first seconds.
i increased the dpi from 1200, which i used to play wirh my old mouse, to 1600.
u really can feel an improvement from the am sensor, to the za12 sensensor. i need to play more but i already can tell you that the investment was wort every cent.

I bought months ago the fk1, its very good but a large mouse could be more comfortable for my fingergrip style.

i had much harder times adapting from 31cm/360° to 23.1cm/360° than from 23.1cm to 11.3cm.
Dunno why, maybe cause i was already used to increase my sens.

actually i felt almost instantly at home after increasing my sens from 23.1cm to 11.3cm. Needed 2 weeks to feel 97% comfy with my new sens.
now playing for like prolly a year with 11.3cm, perfect sens for me :)

also, for everyobe who is interested in a new graphic card like me ... yesterday, the gtx 1080 ti custom designes were announced for the end of march/beginning of april.
im not sure yet if i try to get a zotac or msi version. but also for all the guys, who want a smaller model then the 1080ti, the prices will surely drop as soon the custom cards are available.
