Would it have been too difficult to add to the original closed beta announcement "in NA and Europe".

Instead they went silent, making people like me waste u$s 400 in a new vga, get super hyped, and now i super depressed and u$s400 poorer...

Im IT manager on the uruguayan site of a multionational company.

I don't know how big of a site you manage but do you usually push whatever update is available to all the workstations before testing it on a limited subset? What about when you need to migrate from one program to another or shit like that? Do you never start small and then expend when you see things work as you want? Also, do you work in a place too small for scalability to be an issue?

So you might have to wait a few months longer, which you might have had to wait anyway because who knows when they would have let you into the closed beta even if it were accessible in SA.

You mr. Gstructor can do the same. Less complaining, more personal initiative. You already work in IT, you already have all the contacts needed and players are old enough to finance their hobbies.

It's more about being practical. If it wasn't for the community then they wouldn't have been any servers in the region. Also many European QL servers were funded and organized the same way.
